EINC 2013: Easter Island Nanoscience Conference.
Easter Island, Chile, June 4-8, 2013.

Dear Collegue:

It is my pleasure to invite you to the Easter Island Nanoscience Conference (EINC), which will be held in Easter Island June 4 to 8, 2013 (Hotel Hanga Roa)

Nanoscience and Nanotechnology have reached the forefront of present-day attention due to fascinating advances in basic science, but also due to the relevant technological achievements it holds in promise. The Easter Island Nanoscience Conference aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and students to exchange and share their experiences and results about all aspects of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. We cordially invite you to attend the conference and to actively participate in its technical sessions.

Easter Island, a Polynesian island in the southeastern Pacific Ocean, is one of the most isolated islands on Earth. Early settlers called the island “Te Pito O Te Hehuana” (Navel of The World). Officially a territory of Chile, it is known as one of the world’s sacred sites. It is most famous for its enigmatic giant stone busts, built centuries ago, which reflect the history of the dramatic rise and fall of the most isolated Polynesian culture.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of EINC 2013, I look forward to seeing you in Easter Island.

Miguel Kiwi
Chairman
Organizing Committee
